We’re struck by unrealistic beauty norms that our society has set for us, if you are skinny you are healthy. This is why we spend hours hating our bodies and splurging thousands of dollars on gym memberships. We didn’t know that we are starting to choose unhealthy ways when we desperately want to lose weight, like starving ourselves that will result in undernourishment or going on absurd cleanses. This leads us to never be contented with the way we look.

What’s more critical is that this obsession can lead to disorders like anorexia and a never-ending urge to lose more weight. If you believe that you have gained extra weight, concentrate on getting fit instead of just getting thin. If you deem that being fit is only about how often you work out and what you eat, you need to think again. People don’t just stay fit because they are working out and have a healthy diet, it is also important to have 7 to 8 hours of sleep every night.

Everyone wants gleaming skin that looks fabulous even with no makeup on. A way of achieving that looks is keeping a balanced diet. When you strive to lose weight and want to be as thin as possible, you are doing serious damage to your body. If you follow a healthy diet plan, you will be in shape and see a glow on your skin.

Starving yourself will not help and you will end up looking twice your age. If you choose a healthy diet and your goal is to get fit then you’ll notice the results on your face and skin. A well-balanced diet including greens and fruits will do wonders for your skin. If you eat right and exercise, your skin will glow from within. If you are fit, you also get stronger. Gone are the days where you need help with simple tasks.

It’s no longer about the unrealistic beauty, it’s about living healthily and being active in your tasks. From not asking for a man’s help in physical chores and you will start to use your body’s potential. Being fit is all about making sure you are healthy. Remember, no clothes would look great on you if you don’t feel great from the inside. We are our own most critical critics and always end up censuring ourselves or our bodies.

You’ll feel insecure about the unrealistic goal of being stick thin, and when you won’t be able to achieve this goal, you’ll end up despising your body. However, once you work for a fit and healthy body, you’ll see a change in your attitude as well.

Now, you can say goodbye to your “no eating” diet plan because being fit doesn’t need you to starve yourself, you just need to maintain a balanced diet, and enjoy your 3 meals a day. You don’t need to live on crackers for survival. Being healthy is a lifestyle everyone can attain. It’s not simple.

It’s one of the toughest things you will ever do, yet, one of the most rewarding. Just because you see skinny women, it doesn’t mean that they are in shape or they have been skinny their entire lives. Some women are skinny because of their metabolism. When they go to work out or exercise, they will be struggling just like any beginner of this lifestyle change.

Remember, beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. Do not let society dictate to you what you should look like. Your health and peace should always be your priority. As long as you make fitness your goal, you can start a happy and healthy life with a healthy body.
