Kaling created this American romcom series and starred in it as well. It aired on Fox from September 2012 and ended on Hulu in November 2017, completing its run of 6 seasons.
The plot revolves around an obstetrician/gynecologist, Mindy Lahiri (played by herself), and the happenings and struggles of her daily life. She practices in a small medical place in New York City and is surrounded by some weird and quirky colleagues.
